All papers submitted to IPA 2027 are reviewed double-blind by members of the Scientific Committee. Accepted papers are organised into thematic parallel sessions, each running for 90 minutes and typically including two papers. For every accepted paper, the organising committee appoints a discussant — drawn from the pool of conference authors — who introduces the work and opens the discussion.
In line with past IPA conferences, the presentation of each paper will be as follows. Each paper will be allocated 45 minutes: the discussant presents and comments on the paper for 20 minutes; then, the presenting author has 10 minutes for a response; after that, there will be 15 minutes for open discussion with the audience.
The IPA tradition is intentionally broad. Indicative themes for IPA 2027 include:
The final list of session themes will be confirmed during the review process and will reflect the topics of accepted papers.
All presenters receive a digital certificate of presentation after the conference. Certificates are sent automatically through the submission platform to the email address provided at registration.
