Key Dates

All the important deadlines for the IPA 2027 Conference and the Emerging Scholars Colloquium.

IPA Conference

The conference will take place on 14, 15 and 16 July 2027 at the Fórum Evolución — Palacio de Congresos de Burgos.

1 November 2026
Paper submission opens The online submission platform for full papers will be available from this date.
31 January 2027
Paper submission deadline All full papers must be submitted by 23:59 CET on this date. Late submissions will not be considered.
31 March 2027
Notification of acceptance Authors will be informed of the outcome of the review process by this date.
14 – 16 July 2027
IPA 2027 Conference Three full days of plenary sessions, parallel paper sessions, keynote lectures, and social events.

Emerging Scholars Colloquium (ESC)

The ESC precedes the main conference and will take place on 12 and 13 July 2027 at the Campus San Amaro of the University of Burgos.

1 November 2026
ESC application opens Submissions for the colloquium open simultaneously with the main conference.
5 February 2027
ESC application deadline Doctoral students and early-career researchers must submit their applications by this date.
26 March 2027
ESC notification of acceptance Selected participants will be notified by this date.
12 – 13 July 2027
ESC sessions Two days of presentations, panel feedback, and discussion at the Campus San Amaro, University of Burgos.
